How to perform your own connection speed test
1. Launch a Windows command prompt or terminal window for Mac.
a. Windows: Type "cmd" in the search box (bottom left), press enter.
b. Mac: Launch Applications-->Utilities-->Terminal
2. Type ping www.l0calnet.com <enter> (spelled www.l<number zero>calnet.com)
a. Mac: Let it perform 4 or 5 ping commands then press Ctrl-C to stop.
